Introducing: the soup series
At the request of Helen & for your enjoyment, I have decided to do a series about the wide range of soups I purchased for my recession meal plan.
To kick off the series, I tried the Steak and Cheese soup. It’s sort of like a chowder. It has potatoes in it, which are good, but the steak is WAY salty. It’s sort of like eating those seasoning cubes. Blech.

Today is the day
I revert back to poverty mode! It was my way of living from last November to about May. It involves buying cans of soup on sale and getting three meals out of each can. It does NOT involve going out to eat or spending money on things like clothes, shows, etc. It also involves limited driving because of lacking gas funds.
As not-fun as all of this sounds, it is slightly gratifying to accomplish...

Last semester, due to a lot of things going on, I had little to no appetite. Ever. The thought of food made me sick. I would maybe eat one meal a day and pick at a second one. I also drank unnatural quantities of coffee.

I decided to brave the rough streets and head to Cup A Joe. However, I never cleared the snow off my car yesterday and thus had to complete said task before driving. I didn’t have a snow scraper, but what I DID have were a bunch of junk CDs in my trunk leftover from the stuff swap several weeks ago. CD cases work fabulously for clearing off windshields!!!
